Girls Beware While Using the Trail Room or any where

Dear friends

ACT BEFORE U DO OR UNDO

Beware while using the trial rooms any where.
GIRLS BE CAREFUL

HI All,

Have you seen recent advertisement of M/S SAINT GOBAIN GLASSES shown in TELEVISION'S - Then you must have known about 2 Way mirror)

How to determine if a mirror is 2 way or not ? (Not a Joke!)
Not to scare you, but to make sure that you aware. Many of the Hotels and Textile showrooms cheat the customers this way.

HOW TO DETECT A 2-WAY MIRROR?
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., How many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror I.e., they can see you, but you can't see them. There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms or bathroom or bedrooms.
It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at?

CONDUCT THIS SIMPLE TEST:
Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror.

However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! (There may be someone seeing you from the other side). So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything. It is simple to do.

This is a really good thing to do. The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass.
Whereas in two-way mirror the silver is on the surface. Keep it in mind! Make sure and check every time you enter in hotel rooms.

Eye Care "20-20-20"

Dear All,

Take care of your "delicate" eyes.

This info' is sure to help PC users very much.

During a recent visit to an optician, one of my friends was told of an
exercise for the eyes by a specialist doctor in the US that he termed as

20-20-20
."
It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours at our desks,
looking at the computer screen.
I Thought I'd share it with you. 20-20-20

Step I :-

After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your
head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This
changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

Step II :-

Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

Step III :-

Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes
of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.

Otherwise our eye would be like this.....

Please do your part and send it on, I did mine. It may just be one of US it saves.

Heart Attack   - STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Steps

STR OKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the party. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some ?don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.
It only takes a minute to read this...

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STR OKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *Ask the person to TALK, to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently: It is sunny out today.)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

{NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue... if the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke}

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency services  immediately and describe the symptoms.  This is URGENT

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

============================================================================

Dear friends,

Everytime some MPs are walking-out for silly reasons, you can think
they are bunking the class and enjoying the pay/allowance;

Rule should be amended that:
- No salary for the absent period;
- cut the allowance/perks for walk-outs/Dharna/Disturbing the proceedings (even calculated for minutes)
- similar cut for unruly behaviour;
- To encourage good behaviour/conduct/positive contributions special incentives can be introduced;

Try implementing this rules for, at least, one week and can get AMAZING Results;

"Not to vote" is not the  real  solution -  in fact  running  away  from the  problem.
WE NEED SOLUTIONS

I am  confident that  young  generation  will  DEFINITELY  bell the  CATS!

What I want is...

Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will not forget you.

Smiling is infectious

Smiling Is Infectious

Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner
and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile, just like mine
could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!

Food Habits...

If you, like so many of us, are so caught up with work that you have little time to watch what you eat, it's time to take a breather before your lifestyle takes its toll on your health.
Here are five bad habits which you must avoid to salvage your health.

1. Skipping breakfast
A lot of people leave home with just a cup of tea or coffee and then they wonder why they are always crabby, irritable and low on energy throughout the day.

Skipping this first, most important meal of the day is like starting a car without fuel. Your body is forced to call on its energy reserves and these do not last very long, making you irritable and snappy and lacking in concentration by the middle of the day.

What's more, you will end up eating a lot more servings or calorie-dense foods at lunch, which will cause your sugar levels to go up and then come crashing down, making you feel sluggish and tired.

Solution: A good breakfast does not have to be elaborate; a glass of skimmed milk with 2 handfuls of corn or wheat flakes and a fruit will suffice. For hot breakfast lovers, an egg, two slices of bread and a fruit or a bowl of oatmeal porridge accompanied by a fruit are enough.

2. Drinking too much tea/coffee
Sipping constantly can be a tough habit to break. But too much of either tea or coffee can do two things:

    * It may leave you feeling jittery, irritable, dehydrated, and even interrupt your sleep pattern at night so you do not get deep sleep or do not feel rested the next day.
    * If taken with your meals, tea and coffee inhibit the absorption of iron from your food. Your body throws out the nutrient as waste.

Solution: If you cannot cut down on the number of cups, cut down on the size of cups so you drink half the quantity. If you have a choice, opt for water.

3. Not drinking enough water
Most corporate offices are air-conditioned, so we do not really sweat and therefore, do not feel so thirsty. What's more when you are used to drinking water below your requirement, your body adapts and when you do start drinking a little more water, your body treats it as excess -- in fact, initially, the body actually throws it out causing you to run to the toilet every few minutes.

In the long run, not drinking enough water can cause constipation, indigestion, gas, increased hunger pangs, dehydration and can make your skin look dull too.

Solution: Keep a 1 litre bottle of water at your table and aim to finish it before the end of the day. It may take you two to three days to adapt to an increased dose but when you do, you will notice the positive benefits immediately -- better skin, better bowel movements and better control on your hunger pangs.

4. Eating at odd hours
While you cannot be expected to leave in the middle of a meeting because the clock says lunch time, it is definitely possible to try to have a somewhat regular meal timing for the majority of the days in the week.

Having a somewhat fixed meal time helps keep your metabolic rate up and can help prevent gas and acidity, which result from long gaps between meals.

Timely eating will also prevent you from overeating as once your body is used to getting energy at a particular hour, it will stop demanding food at odd hours.

Solution: Try to have a fixed time-frame in which you can have your meal peacefully and finish it in a matter of 15 to 20 minutes.

5. Weekend binging
Most of us put in endless hours during the week eating whatever is available, and then comes the weekend. We go on another binge that we feel we deserve. Hard drinks along with food add to the damage we cause to our health in the long run.

Solution: Try to take some time to relax at the end of each day and don't wait for the weekend to unwind. Take a relaxing massage, read a good book. Eating is not the only way to pamper yourself!

Welldone...Bangladesh -- and impact on Indian Cricket

Bangaladesh vs SA world cup super8 match

Next India is Touring Bangladesh
Already panic buttons ON
- a young team (doesn't mean that no senior players : they are just 10-17 years old in cricket)
- no coach
- separate coach for bowling, fielding

Lot of senior players available in India
We can give them posts like:

Power-play Coach
(later more coaches for powerplay1, powerplay2, etc)
Dressing Room Coach
(he will take care of players posing for the coverage - one for losing game situation,
another for winning games situations - paid less because of rare moments)
Toss Coach
only deals up to the tossing event - one coach may be for Pre-toss session
Post-Toss Coach
This coach will decide on-behalf of captain, manager and BCCI
whether elect to Bat or Field first
Running Between the Wickets Coach
He is a specialist - concentrates only on 30 yards
(Would be coach: former player dismissed max. times by Run-out)

You can think about more areas where we can appoint a coach
for
the betterment
of
Indian Cricketers read: Retired cricketers

P.S.:
Already BCCI received 667 applications for the post of Coach
- some applications came with CD/DVD to exhibit the Skills
It is learnt that lot of senior players decided to quit and opt for coaching
as the fee structure is attractive - ie better than the revised fee structure for players
